Lone Cone trail is closed for 2022 due to Covid-19

The beautiful views from the summit of Lone Cone have made the mountain a renowned destination. People from all over the world come to take in Lone Cone’s splendor. The hike itself is not for the faint of heart – the total elevation gain is 730m in 3.3km.

The trail is steep with muddy sections so appropriate footwear is the key for a happy hiker. With burning legs and a lung buster of an incline, the spectacular views of Clayoquot Sound make reaching the summit all the more worthwhile.

DUE TO COVID -19- Lone Cone trail is closed for 2022 season. Be safe and take care.
