Lone Cone Campground and Hostel offers countless activities to keep even the most restless city dweller fully engaged. The campground and hostel namesake – Lone Cone Trail, features a pristine hiking trail that guests are encouraged to conquer. The trail makes its way up the face of Lone Cone to the summit of the mountain which stages the most spectacular views of Clayoquot Sound.
An additional lakeside trail is also accessed through the resort and weaves through ancient west coast forests that end at an immaculate fresh water lake. The lake is the perfect place for a rejuvenating swim and for those adrenaline seekers, a rope swing.
The campground features a volleyball court and offers stand up paddle boards for rent ($10/per hr or $40/per day), mountain bikes and kayaks for rent ($10/per hr), and we also have a hot tub for our guests to enjoy. A traditional smoke house is in the works - stay tuned!
If relaxation is what you’re after, stroll the stunning white sand beaches or spend the afternoon beachcombing – you’re bound to find some ocean treasures.
